Mi sono sempre piaciute le illusioni ottiche e i lavori di educazione all'immagine ad esse correlati. In questo sito ce ne sono un'infinità, con tutte le spiegazioni.

Quasi finito!
Anche questo MOOC sulla certificazione delle competenze si avvia alla conclusione. Lunedì ultimo webinar e poi .... mancano solo gli esami ufficiali, a settembre

Concluso anche il corso "How to Teach Computing: An Introduction to Concepts, Tools and Resources for Primary Teachers"
Anche questo corso si è concluso in modo eccellente. Quanta fatica per svolgere in modo accettabile tutti i compiti, settimana per settimana, e superare i test! però una bella soddisfazione ;-)
Come ormai è standard la valutazione viene svolta da altri docenti. Grazie quindi a Dalibor e Arabella per le loro gentili parole.

I admire people who are so dedicated to their job even after 35 years of work. It really is fascinating and in my country quite unusual. You have done truly exceptional job! So much effort!
Very detailed and meticulous. Learning Diary contains all the necessary elements of personal reflection and personal experience and the experiences of colleague transferred. Very substantially and it is seen that done gradually. It gives an explanation of how it works with immigrant children who do not know and do not understand the language which further complicates the work. There is a padlet in padlet about the city of Bergamo, that is really beautiful. I would be very happy if I had the chance to visit it.
The Learning Diary includes answers to the questions raised in each module, shows that the author has reflected about the questions and topics raised on the course in the context of her own situation and includes a lesson plan that follows all the necessary criteria.
Lesson Plan aims to recognize the characteristics of the robot, identify common life robots used and write a simple program to a mini-robots work in groups and has all the necessary stages and optimally allocated time for each activity. It includes resources, posts, ideas, etc. directly from the course, from other course participants or from anywhere on the web that are relevant to the topics discussed and illustrations and videos are beautiful and suitable and stimulating.

Numero di giugno di Scuola Italiana Moderna
E' appena uscito il numero di giugno di Scuola Italiana Moderna. Giusto per non esagerare, ci sono ben tre miei articoli!
I primi due sono recensioni e segnalazioni di libri e siti web, mentre il terzo è un articolo corposo dedicato alla valutazione tramite rubriche. Un argomento molto attuale, direi.

Certificazione delle competenze, di Isa Maria Sozzi, insegnante di scuola primaria
Alla conclusione dell’anno scolastico, specialmente per i docenti delle classi terminali, si apre la fase pressante della valutazione e certificazione delle competenze. Quest’anno, poi, la Circolare Ministeriale del 3 febbraio 2015 fornisce un modello per la certificazione da adottare, in sede di Collegio dei Docenti, in via sperimentale, ma già dal prossimo anno la sperimentazione sarà estesa a tutte le scuole, in attesa dell’entrata a pieno regime nell’anno scolastico 2016/2017. Tra gli strumenti suggeriti per valutare il livello di competenze raggiunte dagli alunni, oltre al portfolio, ci sono le rubriche di valutazione. Un dispositivo che si presta in modo particolare per una valutazione autentica. Ma cosa sono le rubriche di valutazione e quale discorso pedagogico sottendono? Come costruire rubriche ben fatte, quali elementi inserire e come tradurre una rubrica compilata in livello di valutazione di una competenza?

La classe prima cerca SOSTENITORI
Nel mese di maggio, la classe prima è stata iscritta ad un concorso promosso dalla Lego che terminerà il 5 giugno (nei termini del concorso c'è probabilmente un errore in quanto si trova anche la data 15 giugno).
In seguito al ricevimento di un kit campione, gli alunni hanno costruito ed inventato due storie divise in tre sequenze con didascalie con un massimo di 300 caratteri.
Da ieri, le storie sono pubblicate nella pagina Facebook StoryStarter Italia.

Concluso un altro corso
Oggi ho ricevuto il certificato per aver completato il corso "Creative use of Tablets in Schools Course" nel MOOC dell'European Academy. Bel corso, ma quanto lavoro!
Cinque settimane di videolezioni e costruzione del Learning diary, con progettazione di lezioni e attività, inserimento di materiali e peer review. E ... in inglese, sorry!!

I work in a vocational upper secondary school in Italy, and it is very useful and interesting to see how colleagues work with different age ranges. I understand myself the difficulties you are facing with technological devices and supports, as well as with “dinosaur age” teachers reluctant to face the changes in our society and in our schools. You have attached useful resources from the web, in particular concerning rubrics, as well as some amazing products (the Expo project is really nice). I really appreciated such a deep insight into your working experience.
The Learning Diary includes answers to the questions raised in almost each module. The Learning Diary shows that you have reflected about the questions and topics raised on the course and beyond. I have not seen anything about the flipped classroom, did I miss that or was it not relevant to you? The Learning Diary includes a lesson plan that follows all the criteria identified in section 4.8.1 The proposed scenario seems to be in the spirit of this course. The plan has a quite good balance of activities. The students are discussing, collaborating, producing and assessing. I think this work on characters is great, it really helps the understanding of a complex text. If I was a little provocative I’d ask what added value the tablet brings compared to work on a poster? But, if I had tablets I suppose I would have done the same choice…What will students do next with the content they produced? Will it be integrated somewhere? Can they reuse it? The Learning Diary includes resources, posts, ideas, from anywhere on the web that are relevant to the topics discussed. You have gathered a lot of useful data and reflected on what your way of teaching with tablets would be. I guess that's what was expected. I think it's a good job and I wish you and your students will soon have some tablets in your classroom!

App Dynamic plates
Ho appena scaricato ed installato la versione per iPad di un'app che, almeno oggi, è stata resa disponibile gratuitamente.
Dynamic plates è un’app didattica interattiva che ti permette di osservare e comprendere le dinamiche interne della Terra. Le animazioni, accompagnate da effetti e suoni, sono molto accattivanti. Senza nemmeno leggere le spiegazioni nella parte teorica mostrano in modo molto evidente gli effetti degli spostamenti delle zolle. Molto interessante!asc
